About Rachel Jensen, Agent

Rachel JensenRachel Jensen—a fourth-generation Astorian—has the knowledge, skills and community connections to exceed your real estate expectations!

Born and raised in Astoria, Rachel graduated from Astoria High School in 1997. She then moved to Marlboro, Vermont where she earned her B.A. in American Studies from Marlboro College. On a trip home to visit family in 2008, Rachel realized that the Oregon coast possessed all of the qualities she had been looking for in a permanent location—expansive river views, dramatic sunsets and a rich cultural history—and decided to once again make Astoria her home.

While working as an assistant to local property managers and investors, Rachel became interested in the unique challenges faced by the owners and landlords of historic properties. Inspired by local support of preservation and restoration efforts, she began studying historic preservation—with a focus on Northwest architectural history. In 2013, she received her master's degree from Savannah College of Art & Design.

She has now chosen to use this education as a resource for buyers and sellers of local properties.

Personally enthusiastic about the merits of preserving historic architecture, Rachel is first and foremost interested in the vitality of the local economy. Therefore, finding the best property for each individual investor or homebuyer—regardless of the building's historic designation—is her number one priority. She will happily discuss the pros and cons of investing in historic property and can also assist you in locating that elusive "diamond in the rough."

If you are interested in selling your property, Rachel will use her skills and education—including her background in history, photography and graphic design—to market your home with an exceptional eye for quality and detail. Contact her today to begin the exciting adventure of finding your new home or to sell a property that no longer fits your lifestyle. Phone: 503.791.2473. Email: rachelamyjensen@gmail.com
